The rooms are dressed according to guru colour pallette present light and earthy shades of linen and moss. The Guru rooms atmosphere is peaceful and relaxing.
Dark Rakka
Rakka-themed rooms simulate the darker shades of Nordic landscapes and autumn colours from dep brown to burnt orange Rakka’s palette is prestige and dramatic.
Modern layout
There are 15 atmospheric rooms in Hotel Kuura. Four rooms are possible to transform into family rooms or for a larger number of guests. This can be done by connecting the rooms or by opening the extra beds for use.
Altogether Hotel Kuura offers beds for 34 guests with atmospheric décor. The area of the hotel is 653 m2 (7028.83 sq ft).

The Hotel Kuura delights quests and visitors with authentic Nordic dining and atmospheric bar lounge. Our restaurant is designed for 32 guests across 13 tables. On special occasions and events, the capacity can be increased

The beautiful log cabin is 55 square meters and provides a suitable space for meetings and events

The sauna building is 39 square metres and the traditional woodfired sauna offers soft warmth for the guests. A small kitchen area by the sauna section ensures that drinks stay cold and offers a possibility for small-scale dining in the space.

Experiences
Breathtaking views are inviting you to hike, cycle and paddle from early spring to late fall. During the winter the snowmobile and husky safaris offer a memorable experience like no other. In the area, you have the opportunity to try Finnish gold digging, reindeer farming, or admire the flaming northern lights.
Hiking
There are multiple lakes in the close proximity to the hotel, the nearest one being Ujejärvi. There are also several rivers, providing great fishing grounds around the year. The Nature reserve of Urho Kekkonen offers a variety of opportunities to enjoy the uniquely beautiful nature.
Skiing
The most northern ski resort of Europe is located in Saariselkä, providing a long ski season and great premises for skiers and snowboarders.
